Emergency Roof Tarping and Storm Damage
When wind tears off roofing or a branch punches a hole, the first job is keeping water out. We secure a heavy tarp over the damage, photograph everything for your insurance, and come back to make the permanent repair.
- Tarp secured over the damaged area
- Photos taken for your insurance claim
- Debris and broken roofing cleared
- Permanent repair scheduled right away
- Commercial roofs covered too

When You Need a Tarp
Santa Ana winds can lift shingles and tile in a single night. Falling limbs, a fire scare or a failed patch during a storm can leave a roof open. If water can get in and the full repair cannot be done before the next rain, a tarp buys time.
A Tarp Done Right
A loose tarp flaps, tears and lets water in. We run the tarp over the ridge so water sheds off it, and secure it with boards instead of nailing through good roofing. The goal is a tarp that holds through a storm without making new holes.
Help With the Insurance Side
Adjusters want clear photos of the damage and the cause. We shoot the roof before and after the tarp goes on and write up what we found so you have it ready when you file.
Where We Work
Our shop is in Norco and we cover Eastvale, Corona, Jurupa Valley, Riverside, Chino, Mira Loma and Home Gardens.
Questions We Hear
How long can a tarp stay on?
A well secured tarp can hold for weeks. Sun breaks it down over time, so we plan the permanent repair as soon as we can.
Do you tarp at night?
Climbing a wet roof in the dark is how people get hurt. We tarp at first light. If water is coming in overnight, catch it in buckets and call us early.
