Corona Roofing From a Local Norco Crew
Corona starts a few minutes south of our Norco shop. We repair and replace tile and shingle roofs across the Circle City, from the older streets near downtown to the newer tracts in South Corona and the hills toward the Cleveland National Forest.
Two Kinds of Corona Roofs
Near downtown and the Grand Boulevard circle, many homes are older, with shingle roofs that have been redone more than once. In South Corona, Sierra del Oro, Dos Lagos and the newer tracts, you will see mostly concrete tile from the 1980s on. Those roofs leak when the underlayment under the tile wears out.
Wind and Fire Along the Hills
Santa Ana winds funnel down the Santa Ana Canyon and across Corona, lifting shingles and loose tile. Homes up against the hills sit in mapped fire hazard zones, where a reroof has to meet stricter fire rules for roofing and vents. We check your address before we quote so the roof we price is one the city will approve.
Permits in Corona
The City of Corona requires a permit for a reroof. We pull it and meet the inspector.
