Why Drainage Matters
When gutters overflow, water soaks the fascia and the roof edge and can run behind the stucco. Clogged flat roof drains leave ponds that break down the roof. Good drainage is cheap and it protects everything else.
Trees, Leaves and Horse Country Dust
Pepper trees, eucalyptus and palms drop a lot of debris here, and dust from dirt lots and trails settles in gutters as mud. A cleanout in the fall clears it before the first storm.
